Gorgon

My tattoo design that I want to get done. Very happy with how this one turned out.

A few details about it (besides the fact that I love Medusa):

• A gorgoneion is a protective amulet.
• There’s an aegishjalmur on her tongue, which is to “induce fear, protect the warrior, and prevail in battle.”
• The Triple Moon on her crown, a common representation of the Goddess as Maiden-Mother-Crone.
• The Third Eye on her forehead (to see through the bullshit for the truth).

This is a design that I’ve had sitting in my noggin’ for a while, and I’m pleased how it came out. I sketched it out on paper first, then used Clip Studio’s symmetry ruler to get the two sides exactly right.
